What exactly is wrong with our people in this country?

Qatar i never said ALL. but a select few have made it a habit to take but not give. I know many Somali successes, Just last week a good friend of mine told me he has a PHD in Maths studied at Imperial College and I was blown away by this as i was so proud of him, I thank nobody but Allah for giving me the intelligence to prevail, I MERELY point out the issue so that I can gather ideas in order to help I already help via translate for charity companies and I work closely with MP's in order to give incentives hence why i'm here. I'm just merely trying to root the issue as to why we cant prevail or maintain a solid work base like the Eastern Europeans who have emigrated to this country.

i find it sad, that people like crappy democrats are coming on to snet to boast about their academic creditentials, when they should be do more to help the somali community.

I think its time, we set up a new organisation, without the so-called bogus community leaders, i personally blame them for the problems facing the somali community.

I'm not going to lie and say im not proud of my accomplishments I worked very very hard to get them so why cant I share them? tell me exactly what help do you do my friend? as for your comment about not helping.

I.

1. Help raised over 6000 for the local Masjid via internet donations, street raising, and personally writing to established Muslim run organisations
2. Part time volunteer translation for a respectable charity company for those with housing difficulties.
3. Work with the local MP's as stated to bring new Incentives in order to help the Somali community within the Ealing borough.
4. Along with my father a newly setup sport incentive that is being run by 5 unemployed EX Juvenile deliquents under my guidance helping kids work and strive to a positive future they will receive educational and physical training.


I believe I do my fair bit for our community trying to make the difference. This thread was merely created to gather the thoughts and opinions of this board.
