Hello everybody just a question to those who are familiar with the gym.

What are the best techniques for burning fat around the legs, and toning the bottom?

Is running on the treadmill more effective then walking on the incline?

I would appreciate useful reponses.

Thanks

I go gym but new to this gym thing i suggest go to some instructor or read some gym websites or magazines also follow some diet programme and take protein shakes that will help, also play some football keeps in perspective still.

Also follow some kind of timetable like some day work on legs other days arms/stomach/back etc.

Resident gym expert at your service lol.

For cardio, incline walking is very effective and also HIIT, which is high intesity interval training. For hitt you run all out for one minute and walk for one minute, repeat for 10 mins and i guarantee u'll be KO. Just make sure your heart rate remains higher than normal.

Most def add some weights to your workout, as the more lean body mass you have, the more calories you burn a day. For legs some good excercises are barbell squats, walking lunges, hack squats and leg curls. Look em up. But ultimatley work on reducing your bf.

Just my 2 cents.

Mixture of both.

However i reckon low weights/high reps is overrated. I personally do heavy weights and use a rep range of 4-8, no higher. This method has worked well for me. But another thing, diet is key. Make sure you do not undereat (to lose quick weight), as it will mess up your metobilism. Try having 6 small meals with plenty of protein. Curb the carbs at 6pm and u'll be good to go. Finally consistency is key, alot of peeps join gyms expecting a quick fix, but significant results are attained over a year or two of consistent hardwork. Good luck.

You could probably lose 10 pounds in a couple of months, but nothing really dramatic. Try and hit the gym 5 times a week.

yep nobleman explains alll

you need to eat alot of proteins more than your daily intake depending on your size, if you not able to do that use protein powders because they help you little bit. For the legs u need to run on the machines at least 35 minutes, do this twice a week and also if you want to have strong legs u need to lift heavy weight and do less reps.

LOOOL

IM really not supposed to tell anyboy this but it helped me loose 18kg in one and a half months. Have breakfast and one big meal a day and rest of it pig out on fruits and veggies. Stay away from carbs cause they just fuck u up also if u work first start with weights to strengthen the muscles and then do cardio cause the stronger ur muscle to more u burn.

Good luck.
