BALOO

thats true in a sense. but i know a lot somali girls who don't cover up, but r really sweet N pure
personally i believe men should respect all ladies equally. regardless of what they look like.
if a girl doesn't cover up chances r her parents failed to discipline her early on N teach her modest dressing, so it's not alwayz their fault

some habloo, no matter how their parents looked after them, they still easily infleunced by the western culture.

about men respecting woman equally, just look at how boys are growing up with the hip hop culture, where woman are nothing but a piece of meat. they see, those madows calling them hoes and biitches. and they just copy that. man aint gonna respect you, if you dont respect your self

Phd in naago kudis........... u have a very good point!!

Listen to the lecture given by Brother mutah from outlaws. He makes a very interesting comment. He says in the ghetto there are thugs, killers, drug dealer, pimps.... all hangin out on the road..... sometimes blocking the road..

and he says when they see a muslim sister covered up from head to toes! jus showing her face and hands....walking down and tryin to get pass..... they all move out of her way!!..... imagine that!!..... these people have no respect for other people yet they seee a muslim sister and quickly disperse!

then they see a gal in a skirt and they all pounce on her............!!

Asalama Alaikum Waramatulahi Wabarakatuhu...Brothers and Sisters in Islam

Well my opinion is that seeing as how it is Fard to observe the hijab there is little choice...however some sisters wear the hijab but do not fill its condition...as a brother was kind enough to mention that Hijab means covering everything except the face and the hands (some scholars even say that face and hands should also be covered like the time of the Prophet Sallahu Alye'Waslam)

Asalama Alaikum Sister yes wearing perfume outside ones own home is indeed a great evil, The Prophet Sallahu Alye'Wasalam compared such women to an Adulteress!

Here is a hadeeth concerning it;

2. Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: Every eye is
lustful and when a woman applies perfume and then goes about in an assembly, she is like such and such, i.e. an adulteress.
(Mishkat Hadith1065)

And other things which we must abstain from;

Allah has cursed those women who practise tattooing and those who get themselves tattooed, and those who remove their face hairs, and those who create a space between their teeth artificially to look beautiful, and such women as change the features created by Allah. Why then should I not curse those whom the Prophet has cursed? And that is in Allah's Book, i.e. His Saying: "And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad ) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it), and fear Allah." (59.7)
