Why Do Non-Landers Hate Somaliland?

If I wasn't from Somaliland I wouldn't speak ill of it. I would praise my brothers from the North for understanding the importance of human life and learning to to run a country. Why hate on something that is based on peace and unity. I would look at the Somaliland situation as proof that Somalis can get along and we don't need outside interference.

i think some non landers might be feelin some sort of hostility against somali landers because they dont understand why or how they cud try and claim independence in another country that they're a part of

The issue I have with non-Landers is that they are angry with the fact that Somaliland has law and order and is building itself up with no foreign aid or interference. They want all of Somalia to be in constant misery like Southern Somalia.

Back then, Xamar was a city for all Somalis. It is no longer like that and has become a graveyard for millions of Somalis.

This is not a North or South divide. This is about Somalis respecting each other for making progress and understanding that violence is not the answer. If Mogdishu stopped the war, and prepared for the path towards improving the country, I would be the first one singing its praises. We're all Somalis at the end of the day.
