I've covered them in Philosophy.

I didn't know they were involved with politics and International Relations aswell :?

Yeah they are,

Some philosophical theories are closely intertwined with politics,,,,

E.g Reason, Truth, Rights.

Wasalam

We've covered a bit about Hobbes and his Leviathan book, Immanuel Kant as well. I think my proffessor spoke about Machiavelli, but not in detail, nor do I believe it will come up in my exams :o I'm not too sure though.

Aristotle and plato we haven't gone into detail as well. We studied about Deomcracy in ancient Greece and Rome.

I do Introduction to Politics...trust me it's interesting. But IR (international relations) is hard and complicating. It involves lots of theories and UN charters, mandates, treaties, and key historical dates. We discuss the Cold War in detail, World War I and II.

Salam
It's quite hefty but nevertheless interesting.

Thanks Warsan.

Well I did exactly same as you ,,,IR and Politics....I've done intro to Politics in my first year aswell....You're right the politics bit is more interesting than IR....

I did my dissertation on the recent flawed election in Kenya and the political unrest which followed..........I looked at the the underlying roots and consequences of the crisis....It was interesting..but am happy it's all done now...

Good luck with everything.
