Somaliland Independence

Somaliland gained independence on June 26,1960 from Britain it united with Somalia to form the Somali Republic after nearly 2 decades of human rights abuses, humiliation and the suffering of its people, it waged war and re-declared its independence on May 18,1991 in the city of Burco.
