SEX EDUCATION IN SCHOOL

Postby STOP! » Mon Jul 07, 2008 5:15 pm

IS SEX EDUCATION THE CAUSE OR THE SOLUTION?......WHAT DO U THINK?

1 IN 4 SHOOLS HAVE SEX CLINICS HANDING OUT CONDOMS/PILLS TO KIDS AS YOUNG AS 11....BUT IS IT WORKIN? SEX EDUCATION TO THAT AGE GROUP? OR IS IT THE CAUSE? IS IT MAKIN KIDS THINK ITS OK TO ENGAGE INTO SEXUAL ACTIVITY AT THERE AGE?

IN MY OPINION ITS LIKE HANDING OUT CLEAN NEEDLES TO DRUGGIES.

WHATS UR TAKE ON THIS?

I think there needs to some form of education. Like what happening to the body and the changes that is occuring. However just talking about sex to youg children (to me) is loading the bullet and letting them pull the trigger.
Parents need to take responsability in this as well and find out whats going on in their childrens' school and have the option of optting their children out of these sort of classes.
Personally, I would never let my child go to a school where they hand out condoms...are u freakn kidding me?
They're 11, they're not old enough to make any sort to of decision whats so ever. I really think society needs to stop giving children so much freedom and realize that the adults are in charge...its not a joint venture.
