What do you find hard?

Postby young@muslim » Fri Mar 17, 2006 7:04 pm

Salam Alekum fellow brothes and sisters being a practising muslim in a non muslim country is not easy, as a muslim many things such as music, mixing with the other sex (boyfriend, girlfriend and so on) doesnt exist in Islam and others practises are restricted, nobody is perfect however if the intension is there and as a muslim you try your best inshallah we will succed. What do you find hard to stop practising?

Salam Alekum, well why dont you try listening to islamic songs or listen to the Quran challenge yourself, try to memorise it, of course bit by bit.
Thriller well try not to curse people is haram as you know, remember doing behind people back is like eating they flesh, and you will have to eat their human flesh in Hell. Just try to remember is wrong and is the Shiydan telling you to do so, be strong and remember how wrong it is.

Being opinionated and up front, at times I find myself saying crude stuff (some may consider it as being nasty and not lady like) that is not welcomed in Islam.

Music is another major problem.
