I noticed many people saying, repent and praying, well your last day on earth might be tomorrow or sooner so just start preparing now, I have heard at a talk that people should buy white sheets they be buried in and put it somewhere in their room(where you can see it), this might sound odd, but it will remind you of death.

And the prophet pbuh said the most intelligent person is the one who always thinks about death.
