What the hell is this Soccer talk when the game is called football?

What are we, bleeding yankees? Aussies?

What a disservice to the beautiful game.

The American football should be called a "Handball" because the player is holding the ball most of time. In football, player uses foot to move the ball most of time. I don't get why Americans called it football.
