1-0

Melo showing why he is the NBA's best closer. We need Bibby and Davis to get healthy fast, TD is not a PG. Chandler had a good first game.
To be honest we SUCKED especially in the 2nd half. First of all PG wise we are in some SERIOUS trouble. Our primary PG is in some serious shambles. TD is good but is not a PG or close to it. Whats even more disturbing is TD and Shumpert both looked like the struggled getting the ball past half court against pressure. When Carmelo is by far Your best ball handler/PG u know u have serious issues. That being said Carmelo showed why he is a true elite in the game. Offensively he is unstoppable and on D He was amazing as well as on the boards. He is a bonafide superstar no question. In other notes Chandler was great on D with steals, and 6 blocks but he has to rebound more, and same with amare he had 2 blocks but he also has to rebound more. If Baron doesn't get healthy this team will be in serious troubule.

Shumperts gonna be out for 2 weeks. He isnt a point guard either, he's a shooting guard. I like how he showed he can very easily breakdown the D, I think he will eventually start at the 2. Mike Bibby will be back by midweek, look for him to get decent minutes. Baron gonna be back by January, our schedule isnt bad at all so we can win without him.

Knicks suck. Almost lost to the flabby and sick Celtics without Paul Pierce

Murax and Jaidi, the Knicks needed that win in a bad way and they managed to gut it out so respect for that

. That kid Iman Shumpert is definitely going places as a key rotation player...he's athletic and a pest on defense, which the Knicks are gonna need to compete.
Once they tighten the screws on defense, they're gonna be a tough out every night. If Baron Davis (when he's back from his back injury) plays like the BD from Golden State in '07, which he can since he's only 33, the Knicks are gonna be a legit title contender, point blank period.

They're overhyping Davis to the max. I still believe Billups was best suited for this team, he's a proven winner and they don't call him Mr.Big shot for nothing.

Well truthefully speaking we have some SERIOUS problems.
1) Amare is NOT rebounding, and something needs to be done. The coaching staff has to call Him out. On top of that He's playing HORRIBLE on offense and is falling in love with the shot. I think him putting on 20 lbs of muscle this year was a bad move he looks robotic.
2) WE NEED A STARTING POINT GUARD PERIOD. We have zero playmaking.
3) Defense on the perimeter is HORRIBLE and this is where we BADLY miss our rookie Shumpert. Bibby, Fields, Walker are getting eaten alive on fdefense.

Knicks started turning bad once they got Melo, what he does isn't that special, Amare can handle the scoring load. They should have traded for Chris Paul, and for that matter kept Billups with him, they have good chemistry in L.A. now.

Amare was never a good rebounder even in Phoenix!
And you better pray Baron Davis is in shape and not flabby and sick

New Yawk is going to give Miami(the one to beat for years to come)
problem for years to come no doubt about it, but they are going to have
to do some fandamentaly essencial change like the symtem. D'ante is not going
to work (one of the reasons why LBJ never went there) let alone the front court proplem they have.

My goodness man last night was brutal. We need a PG right away. Our depth is horrific. At this point I even miss Jared Jeffries. Not good at all.
