Aside the Knicks desperate need for offensive flow, we have to give credit to my Raptors for smelling blood all game, especially Bargs and Derozan. I think this team finally has an identity now and thats thanks to Casey. All of the 4 road games we played so far we were up by double digits, losing 2 of them and almost losing last night in the final minutes. If we can figure out how to close games more effectively the NBA better watch out lol

I always said if the Raptors can play top 15 defense the playoffs is within reach and maybe, I dare say, a lock?

The Knicks owned the raptors last year. They beat them 4 straight times and they had nobody to match up with Amare. His absence was critical.

I guess so but the Melo and Amare combo just isn't working, they record together last year was like 16-20, and I don't its going to get any better this year without a pass first point guard, something Baron just isn't good at. They should trade him, Fields and a few picks to Phoenix for Nash if they want to have any chance of pass the first round.

I think they can play together, but only under a solid PG who can orginize them. Amare last year slumped NOT cuz of Melo but because of Raymond Felton being traded away and no other penetrating guard to replace Him. Melo is the #1 offensive weapon in the League He will get his on isolation but Amare is primairly a FINISHER who can isolate in spurts. The Knicks cannot get B Diddy back fast enough. If anything they just need a PG who can orginizee the game and run set plays. All Toney Douglas is good for is barely getting the ball past halfcourt without getting ripped getting rid of the ball and then spotting up for a 3. I think even the Baron Davis of LAST year will be more than enough for us.

The jury is still out on whether the Knicks are a contender or not until Baron Davis comes back...so far they look like an Atlanta Hawks type: good enough to pencil in for 50 wins a year and a lock for the playoffs, but never making it past the second round.

LMAO @ Washington Wizards...the joke that needs no punchline

You can't deny the talent of the Knicks...Amare and Melo are stars in this league, Tyson Chandler is a top 5 center and Baron Davis (when healthy, in shape and motivated) can score and dish the rock with the best of them. That doesn't necessarily translate to winning rings, the East or even their division since they share it with the Celtics, but they're a lock for 50 wins (in an 82 game season, probably 42 this season since it's compressed) and are definitely a playoff team.

 y'all not winning no 42 games wtf  there's no bench!!! Tyson ain't a scorer and it's showing that he should be paid half of what he's getting. Melo and Amare are ball stoppers and Baron hasnt been healthy and in shape for YEARS

Wizards get their first W on Friday against NY, I guarantee it  Chris Singleton will strap Melo 8-)

Wara FAH123, I'm gonna BE AT THE GAME Friday Vs the Knicks, with a couple of my homeboys good seats welibo. I wouldn't even go unless I was 100% confident the KNicsk would crush them. Even though the Knicks are reeling terribly I'm sure I'll be making plans by the 3rd quarter of what I'm gonna do next because it will be garbage time. As a local DC Guy, I wouldn't mind a good Wizards team but THEY ROYALLY SUCK and always will. Magee has talen but has shyt for brains, Nick Young mentaly seems like He's in a different world playing on the playground, Blatche looks like He is trying not to break a sweat so he could be fresh for Club Platinum and John Wall competes but really is overrated and has a LONG way to go to become a elite PG.

Youngfresh,

Our problem I realized is coaching. D'antoni frankly is a horrible coach who only coaches one side of the ball (Offense). He isn't like a Doc Rivers, Greg Popovich type that are able to coach both sides. This stupid team should've hired Avery Johnson when He was available.

I told u, D'Antoni doesn't give a fuck about defense and he never has. I'm not even convinced he knows there's a defensive end of the floor...you'd think Mike Woodson would drive the point home but so far the coaching staff is slipping. They have as much talent as most teams but they're losing to Toronto and Charlotte in back to back games cuz they're not locking guys down...there's a reason Miami blew them out by 40 three nights ago yet they beat New York tonight...hopefully they realize the reason before the end of the season.

As much as I hate the Heat and that clown LeBron James, I have to admit its their year.

However, wallahi billahi if that clown Lebron, Dwayne Waste and Christina Bosh (aka Bosh Spice) don't win this year, they r the biggest baaktis and the worst thing to happen to the NBA. They have no damn excuse to not become champs this season.

This team, especially that clown LeBron, are the biggest choke artists and they r quitters. We saw this especially in the last two seasons.

They have NOO excuse to not clinch it this year but I am certain they will be the usual quitters and choke artists

Fighter,

The Heat will win it this year guaranteed. Not because of spice, but cuz of Wade, Bron and their impressive rookie Cole who was just what the heat needed in the draft. On top of that You got Bosh, a quality big coming off the bench is Haslem along with Mike Miller You have a serious squad. Plus the way Lebron is playing is just silly. The fight is who gets to be 2nd.
