Sir Lug
Neither does it belong to your Cag dheer people. --As Cilmiile would say--it belongs to the Noble Mj.
Hoorta why are Mj greedy?? I think Puntland is big enough for all of them & then some. Why the need to conquer everything? I think in all essence Cag dher should get Kismayo since they dont have a land of their own-- but since they are dumb-& incompetent-- i say--- they should have own it by name & have some other qabil run it. Hhhhhmmmm i am thinking which Qabil should have that honor??

[quote="DawladSade"]Sir Lug you are laughing because you know the truth. Barre Hiiraale left his wife and kids in the city because kalsooni ayuu isku hayaa inuu soo laabanayo waadna ogtahay waxba ha qosol gariirin.
I promise you tho, Cagdheer far ma saareeno iyagaa xabaal kooda qotey.

Dawld,
Walaahi I had no idea he left his kids, I thought it was only the wife that he left behind.
Why do you have to expose him? Isn't he related to you?
Goddaaammmnnniiitttt, who leaves his kids behind and saves his skin, and then remembers them as far as 300 miles.
Basra,
Kismayo doesn't belong to an exclusive qabiil, no one qabiil can claim the ownership of that city. If push comes to shove, then it's Cagdheer in the baadiye and Harti in the city. But ppl who are natives of that city don't about qabiil, their kinship is based on domicile

Sir Lug
Okkk --QUESTION. Why do Ogaden live in the Baadiye? Oooops Wait dont answer the Question.
So basically u are telling us that --if anyone should be entitled to Kismayo it is Harti & OGaden???
Then Why does this Dawlad ---Wave--- "Recognize Marexaan' posters on our faces?? Who gives him the audacity to speak before the Significant Qabils speak??

Ok, I know when someone loses and as I said b4, I don't drag carcasses on the ground, just don't run like Uncle Barre
Basra,
Dawlad is just amusing himself or maybe he was lied to by some elders at the Marexan donut shop.
As I said, the majority of Kismayo residents are Harti and the surrounding countryside twons and small villages is predominantly Cagdheer, however, Carab, Baajuun, Hindi, Pakis, Jareer and Giirgiir lived in that city with the utmost harmony. With that diverse backgrounds, civilization that has not been experienced in any other Somali city was being nurtured there

Barre Hiiraale did not flee. He was asked to leave Kismaayo by the elders of the city such as Daud Dirir, Daahir Mohamed Cilmi, Abdikhadir Mohamed Xikan, Bashiir Yaroow etc. A war in the city would have brought about the destruction of the infrastructure of the city and the death of many undeserving civilians. I am glad he took the advice of the elders, otherwise all that would have died on both sides would be daroods instead of the maurading moryaans from hell.

Reverse psychology works on younger men jaale.
The facts on the ground stand as:
1. Ogaadeen came to Kismaayo when kicked out of Gedo by Mareexaan.
2. Majeerteen came to Kismaayo when Siad Bare airlifted them from the daba-dheer drought in 70's.
and
3. Mareexaan came to Kismaayo after 1997 and today are the majority there.
Who asks when Habar Gidir or qolo fulaan came to Xamar? To say blah blah blah was not in Kismaayo before Siad Barre's overthrow is holding on to a slippery slope.
Mareexaan is here to stay and even TUULOOYIN yee ka sameesteen degmada Kismaayo and Afmadow of all things.
Reality has changed permenantly, la soco wiilka Cag-dheerow.

Sir Lug
Actually--Kismayo should serve as an example to the rest of Somalia. Its like the United states of the insignificants.Kismayo should prosper just because it is politically correct. Good for them! So Sir Lug--what r u then?? Baajuun or Giirgiir??
'3. Mareexaan came to Kismaayo after 1997 and today are the majority there. '
Dawlad u are contradicting yourself. How can any settlers who settled just in 1997 - outnumber the Baajuunis & giiirgiirs who lived alll their lives in kismayo?? Not to mention the Hartis who i am sure almost lived that long, the Cag dher the longest i am sure--the proverbial permanent refugees. ?
You see how Mathmathically incorrect you are? Your calculas/statistics math is not right at all. I mean--- even if the entire Gedo'ans immigrated to Kismayo---they will still be minorities!
Face it-- the ONLY time Marexaan were anuthing is during Barre era-- now he is gone with his Aaf Weyne--- all u people have is Nostalgic tragic oral stories for your offsprings!

That is not true wallahi. The Talxe were among the first somalis to settle in the coastal towns in the South. Read some text man and read about the marexaans in Jubboyinka in the 17th hundreds. The Marexaan galti are ofcourse recent arrivals but the reer guri niggas that talk like Qulaay have been here before any faradheer. They cleared these lands from all kinds of gaalo madoow like the booran and wardeey.

UD,
You can tell that telltale to ppl who know nothing about Kismayo and it's environs and history, but not us, paesani, we know when Marexan came and we know when they left, the last was adeer Barre taking his donkey ride from Bu'ale to wherever
Dawld,
Calling me Cagdheer in a loud voice doesn't change the fact of who I am, but as the Somali song goes "Ninkii dhoof ku yimid baa, geeridu dhibaysaa, wakhtigii dhamaayoooooooo, wuu dhaqaaqay adeer Barre"
Basra,
Wabeneye are some of the insignificant residents of Kismayo, but we respected them nevertheless

Paesani my ass! Dude your parents are refugees from Zone-5 Siyaad Barre brought to Somalia. I was born in Afmadoow and did most of my growing up in Kismaayo although my family is not from there. You were probably born in Kismaayo but I can swear on my life that your parents were not. Anyway all is good saaxib, in the end everything goes back to its original.
