SOMALILAND ARMY

The army is organised into 17 divisions which comprise of 8 tank brigades, 49 mechanized and infantry brigades, 6 commando brigades, surface-to-air missile brigade, 5 artillery brigades, 30 field battalions, and an air defense battalion.

Parts of the army is formed as a formidable GUERILLA MOVEMENT that would make any long term military occupation of Somaliland virtually untenable.

Somaliland army never keeps large armouries at one place because it could lead to a shortage of weapon storage in other locations where it might be urgently needed with other means classical preparation for intensive guerilla warfare.

This is a bit weird. Cause somaliland troops are trained by Ethiopia and Ethiopia has always told them that Puntland are their enemies.

^^ The problem is everything somali armys have is from Ethiopia. SNM and the other jabhads had Ethiopian equipments just like the Warlords. They have the good stuff and we have their old stuff.

And it would surprise me if everything Somaliland and Puntland has is from Ethiopia.
