Enemy, before I gave you an answer, I have consulted a reliable Sheikh and I retract my previous message. It is allowed for a man to marry up to four women at the same time.

What is wrong? I don't think anything is wrong with this.

I mean, the guy got engaged to all of them seperately and they are his legal wives under Sharica Law.

He might have thought that having one single wedding night for all made economical-sense. Mind you, there is no obligation in having a Wedding under religion.

under no obligations would i marry a man with multiple wives, that's just my two cents. it's xalaal, yes, but i still have a choice as to whether i'd allow my husband to or not. quite frankly, i wouldnt condone it all.

Right! That would make a perfect sense if Somalis were known for taking the time to consider economics when they marry.

Ok question for you guys "the men"; forget about religion or love or whatever, what is the appeal of having three wives at this time and age? It boggles me, iskaba dhaaf nimankaas oo Somaaliya jooga they may be uneducated and view it as a symbol of richness or being "The Man" but adinka oo wax yaqaan why would you want to marry more than one at a time?
