Re: Romance and The Romantic!
Cutie, EXACTLY.....being all romantic is extra, if you put hard work in, in other ways, marriages last longer. If you get used to hearing I love u everyday etc and one of u isnt putting other work in...cracks will show....and the roses will one day die
You could tell I have them sussed....dude, men arent very hard to figure out especially since Ive grown up with them
P.S you have such traditional views of marriage....husband helping with the dishes for once....his favourite dress...loooooooooool! find the favourite dress thing kinda gay...I dont like men who have a sense for women's style
Kinda on the gay side if u ask me.

Lil_Cutie,
Marriage is a revolving door ( I should know, married for 6 years now), each partner gets back what they have invested. Men are not romantic for the most part, but with a little encouragement it is easy to make them "romantic". This isn't a free-ride, the wifey has to work for it.

What the heck? She has to work for it??,
ofcourse not that she deserves it!
I agree you get what you give. But doesn't your logic worth both ways? What if the wifey is a hopless romantic at every level?

Oh...innocent little Cutie! I'll let you in on a BIG secret...men are hopeless romantics, we don't like to admit (heck, we are supposed to be TUFF), but we love when our women make us feel special. Some men have a thang for clingy women, I'd probably shoot myself, but that's just me.
Another secret to a good marriage is to always keep the stove on, a HUNGARY MAN IS AN ANGRY MAN!

Women are hopless romantics, we don't like to admit (heck, we are supposed to be CLUELESS), but we love when our men make us feel special and a million dollars. Some women have a thing for over generous men, I always say this, Yes it's soo my kind.
"HUNGARY MAN IS AN ANGRY MAN!" LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
(thats real funny!)
A PENNYLESS WOMAN IS A DANGEROUS WOMAN

Lil_Cutie,
The biggest dispute between married couples happens either because there is no COOKED FOOD in the house or there is NO MONEY FOR FOOD. So, at the end of the day, it is about the food.

Every woman is a gold-digger deep down. The only good thing about it is that it keeps the market at its maximum.
In a way, we are grateful that you guys have such a large appetite for valuable things - shows class especially in qaxooti women.

Gedo,
If that's how you feel, then you might as well have a roomate instead of a husband.

[quote="Lil_Cutie.."]I'm not totally a fan myself. I just don't think Romance is ''what it used to be''. Like Romeo & Juliet-Hellooo.!! (As If!).
Lil Cutie,
Nothing in life stays the same. Things evolve over time...that is a given...but romance is something that is needed in any real relationship. I ain't gonna say it should happen 24/7 but there should be some somewhere along the line.
"Seriously, I get you, it is sooo over rated. Young Dave is right it over complicates the contract.
Lol.
Even if it does happen, what are the chances it'll last?"
If you look at a relationship/marriage as a "contract" then it will never work. That is the problem that us Americans have and that's why a high percentage of our marriages fail. We're too consumed by figures and percentages.

Can't agree with you here. You cannot categorize all women as "gold diggers". That's an absolutely false statement.
