War ninyahow I hate weddings. I don't even remember the last wedding I attended, nowadays flight 13 became bolder and turned into wedding crashers. Are you sure about the out of State thing? Very Happy

Kambuli,

Have you seen the movie wedding crashers?

And no, I don't go to cousins weddings, it's boring, monotonous and I could recite the details of the uneventfull ceremony b4 it even happens. If you went to one Somali wedding, then you went to all Somali weddings, it's like an Indian movie, they recycle the same sh!t

Sir,

No I haven't seen that movie. I know a lot of people that don't go to weddings especially the receptions because of different reasons..Usually for religious purposes..

I just didn't understand what flight13 has to do with going to weddings...

I have seen so many times people acting as if they are better than flight 13...Simply because they came to the USA before the Flight 13. I believe it is what you make out of the years you are in diaspora that matters. Coming to the US as refugee in the 80's does not make one better than the one who came 1992 with the same status...

And I am not saying you are of those people that came this country in 80's or before but I am just making a statment... Laughing
