Ismahan123, I think your parents should be happy if your husband is first and formost a Muslim, a educated man with a good job thats is Somali that comes from a respect family sharaf leh, thats about it talk to your parents about that it's your choice who you gonna marry.

AW is right, your parents duaa is feriiii important, hey did you know if a man's wife and his mother fight and are really displeased with each other,he is supposed to divorce her to please his mum?

Walid is first before anything, especially marriage. Give the guy a chance, maybe this is the way you was meant to find 'your one'

But am just being rational, you obviously want things to turn out irrational and chase the 'Love' concept, which is btw is only truely pure in Marriage.
