Badhan and Eastern Sanaag embrace Somaliland

Badhan(Qarannews)-The local district council in the township of Badhan, Eastern Sanaag have unanimously elected to return to Somaliland administration and to withdraw their support for the local Puntland regional authority.
The mayor of Badhan, Ahmed Mohamed Osman, speaking at a ceremony held in the town yesterday stated that the "decision was taken in the light of the recent developments in the region, and was a unanimous decision".
The government of Somaliland has recently taken steps to re-absorb the administration of parts of eastern Sool and Sanaag. These moves have been wholeheartedly welcomed in the region by the local residents.
Sources in the area have confirmed that Somaliland officials have begun work in Badhan, and the national flag flies over the town hall.
It is also reported that strong contingent from the Somaliland Defence Forces have moved from their basis in Erigavo, the regional capital and have taken secure positions in the region.

Funny, I just talked to Badhan today and heard nothing about this so-called news

The people of Somaliland need education, healthcare, infrastructure.. instead the Gudabiirsi government spends money on funding a war they can not win. The silly thing is, dumb goats like laqaaye will sacrifice their mother for this cause.

Like I've said before though, Somaliland is just another poor, corrupt African state... It is not my real enemy so there is no need to be intimidated by it.

Even IF Badhan or lets say all of Sanaag becomes part of Somaliland, what will that change? Not a damn thing, because a) Somaliland will STILL be an un-recognized, poor state (maybe even poorer than before since war doesn't come cheap).. b) the ppl of Sanaag will still govern themselves and remain independent and the Somaliland will have no real presence in Sanaag. Just like it doesn't have any presence in fockin Togdheer and other regions that are ALREADY part of Somaliland

What has Somaliland done for Burco? Is the living standard there higher than anywhere in Sanaag or Sool? Somalis have the same problems and needs all over Somalia sxb.. A flag and a name does not = a functioning state. Sort yourselves out first before you do anything else.. And spend your money on feeding your people instead of instigating war between brothers (sool) or some stupid attempt to destabilize a peaceful region.

That being said, the district of Eastern Sanaag is part of Somaliland. They much like reer Sool have been fooled into the hartinimo clan card, but just like rer sool have realized by ousting majeerteen puzzies out of their towns, they the peace loving kalun heads have put the luck with Somaliland, where they belong.

They realize that so call buqland aint getting them no where, nor does TFG, which is failure has any future for them. The TFG will be ousted and its leaders beheaded along with buqland. Now its' time to join Somaliland maakhirland, and its seems they have played their cards well this time.
