Daughter of famous scholar Yusuf Xaji Adan ( http://www.somalilandnet.com/news/extra/112768.shtml ) has been named as the UN REP for SL and Somalia.

She is one of the girls that worked very hard behind the scenes to deliver many things for Somaliland. And hopefully her new position as a senior UN official will enhance her already good job for Somaliland.

Hargeisa (QARAN)-The Somaliland Foreign Minister, Mudane Abdillahi Mohamed Duale today met with Marwo Sahra Yusuf Haji Aden from the United Nations Secretary-General's personal envoy to Somaliland and Somalia office in Nairobi, Kenya.

Marwo Sahra Yusuf was recently appointed as an envoy to Somaliland from the UN Secretary General's office.

Mudane Abdillahi Mohamed and Marwo Sahra Yusuf discussed the nature of the co-opetation between the Republic of Somaliland and the office of the United Nations Secretary General's personal envoy.

According to sources within the Somaliland Foreign Office the meeting concluded with an agreement by both sides to strengthen and expand the relationship between the Republic of Somaliland and the office of the UN Secretary General's personal envoy to Somaliland and Somalia.
