You can have a nice wedding on a budget, you don't have to spend all the money you've worked all your life for in one day. Just arrange a nice venue, nice food, decoaration dj/singers, keep it on a budget.

Safe ur money for more useful things. Its about being happily ever after the wedding day is not the most important its just to mark the occasion with family and friends.

I know a friend that went trhough the same..her mom was big on spending and having an axtravagant wedding..but we advised the guy and he pulled the wadaad card right before the wedding..lol

He said I am more into religion and not willing to pay all that money and have all these ppl at the Sheraton for one night...whne I see my muslim brothers and sisters are dying of hunger etc etc.and it actually worked.
