My favorite accent is Abgaal accent. Not the Abgaal of Xamar or Xamarized Abgaal accent but the thick strong Abgaal accent of Warsheikh iyo Warmahan. It is irritating and captivating at the same time I tell ya!

The last couple of months I have taken to responding in Abgaal accent to Mareexaanka. The one that talks to me waxaan ku iraahdaa "xaa rabidaa"

I can't really tell different accents apart given my limited Somali, I'm more focused on comprehending on what is being said. However I once had to interpret for a Raheenweeyn lady I met at the doctors whom I had major communication problems with but she sounded kewl
