Population (2005)
- Urban 2,207,794
- Metro 8,000,000 Agglomeration
The Nile river makes that area probably very livable

Re: Is this Sudan or New York City?
Same metro area, but two SEPARATE cities. Its like Minneapolis-St. Paul! St. Paul is the smaller capital, but Minneapolis is the larger twin. Khartoum is way more advanced and modernized, but Omdurman has more residents. That's my only point.dawwa9 wrote:Omdurman and Khartoum are the same metro area, just two different names...Look at the maps they grown in to each other
Your list stops at Port Sudan.. Kassala is pretty primitive
And who says Kassala is primitive? It has a population of 300,000. Primitive or not, its a bit focking city. The only primitive aspect is that it hosts a shit load of Ethiopian/Eritrean refugees, that's what ruins the city. Not to mention, Kassala was part of Eritrea for a period. Still big though.

Its not exaggerated at all, it doesn't even get the media attention it needs, the politics and American agenda shadows it...Millions of children and women are misplaced in camps in the desert, slowly killed off...while all we talk is the politics behind it, and ooh how nice Sudan is externally.
This is Rwanda and Bosnia all over again, this time the killer claims Islam.

Fock Darfur, let that shit burn if those apes think they can stand in the way of Arab Sudanese prosperity. Focking playa haters.
And Dawwa9, Kassala is slightly bigger than Hargeisa and much more organized/civilized.

That's what the brainwashed lunatics like you would have us believe. No-one said, there wasn't any suffering going on, but it is not worse than the conflict in Somalia. So it is stupid to cry foul in Darfur while one finances the conflict in Somalia. Catch me drift?+chilli wrote:Twisted_Logic wrote:The Darfur conflict is exaggerated suffering to pressure Sudan in meeting Western demands. Re: Is this Sudan or New York City?
The conflict in Darfur could worse than the Holocaust, but it's a Sudanese internal affair, so the West should stay away from interferences. Recently there was the Georgia conflict, and Sudan didn't interfere in it.

I did not note I de-valued the Somalia situation in mentioning Darfur crisis. Both cases are atrocity, however betting them against each other is pathetic.Twisted_Logic wrote:That's what the brainwashed lunatics like you would have us believe. I catch you drift (altho understanding I cn't claim) and your ill-homoured jabs, I'll leave you to you admiration of buildings.
Haddah: from that I cn sense you personally agree with the ethnic cleansing, 'let them kill on', nice brother.
Re: Is this Sudan or New York City?
You're expecting me to say I don't agree with it? The problem is, I don't trust what or how Western media report about Darfur. You believed what Western media claimed about Iraq's WMDs, and as a result, your belief took part of the massacre of 1 million Iraqi Muslims and the displacement of millions others. I just don't want to be like you.+chilli wrote:Haddah: from that I cn sense you personally agree with the ethnic cleansing, 'let them kill on', nice brother.
