Schools in Beledxaawo use the same curriculums as Mandera Kenya, may be those teachers detained wanted to earn extra cash teaching in Beledxawo.

The two cities are very much intertwining it is very hard to tell where is the actual border line is…

I see what Burkuus is doing but there is a problem with that because the people he arrested were Somali kenyans and according to the Somali constitution, every Somali is a citizen of every Somali region. As long as those men/women were not working for missionaries, then I don't see the point in arresting them. If they were missionaries, please kill them.

Qansa,

Nothing serious, is just tit for tat thing always happens Baledxawo and Mandera, as long as burkuus involve it no one will harm them, unless those crazy mareexaan wadaado get drawn into, they may court martial them.

If they are missionaries, I feel sorry for them, they must be out of their mind going to region ruled by hardcore militants…

The article does not say anything about them being missionaries and let us hope they are not. Those fockers are very annoying. Probably just some muralles that wanted to earn an extra dollar in Beled Xawo. Burkuus is just making noise so that no one should enter his domain with his knowledge. I hope it isn't to squeeze few dollars from the institutions that employ these so called foreigners. All jokes aside, I think he just wants to tighten the border.
