Xamari i am patriotic puntlander and i want to correct the myths that somalis have. They must realize that darood is the biggest and most influential tribe in horn of africa. Hawiye have lost so many ppl their struggling to have 1.5 million ppl who are hawiye and trust me i can provide evidence

Well harti is about 3.5 million easy...5 million ogaden...not sure on mareexan...so 10 million darod roughly.

Ogaden=4 million just in ogaden...now some will say ppl live with ogaden...ok lets just say 500 000 others living there like hawiye n isaaq...3.5 million ogaden remain in ethiopia....

Nfd district ogaden are half of that population with degodia and garre...by the way degodia and garre are not hawiye but infact oromos

Puntland=2.5 million plus southern hartis and diapora in the west and middle east and around africa...will add another 1 million to that

3.5 million plus 3.5 million...7 million just ogaden and harti....not even all darod

So when all is counted i think 10 million darod

Its about the likelihood of me still living if I ever went back to hargeisa. I have 2 habar awal friends and 1 warsengali who went back in 2007, and they said there no was tension or any problems.

If somaliland gets recognized, can I demand a citizenship?
