First and for most Abdi= Slave And Allah has 99 names which include Al Weli, Al Rizzaq, Al Kariim.

Marka if a human wants to use the name they must add Abdi in front of it.

So as Muslims these names are very appealing to us Somalis and we have used them ever since Islam Reached out Nation.

In My family we have, Abdiwali, Abdifatha, AbdiNajib iyo Abdinasir

Babygirl i leave in new zealand so there is no african americans here, but if they think somalis are taking their jobs what u should tell them is the "best person gets the job" jobs are not reserved for u but whoever has the best ability to do it...if they don't want to take advantage of what america has te oo offer they have no reason to hate others who will take advantage of it...if they did all the jobs that were available their would be no need for immigrants so before they criticise immigrants tell them criticise yourselves who refused to work...
