I wouldn't have it any other way. Much better than having to pray in someone's back room or something.

Somali Star,

  U are quite the entertaining character when you are not talking politics. In your preKhawariij days, you might have been an entertaining individual who was very sociable.

I agree with you Kolo. The masjid is its own little community; so it would make sense that you would have your bad apples as well as good. The bossy (Mayor) type and the hippy (fund raising) type. You have your critics and you have your followers.

I remember when I was a kid...my mother used to teach arabic on Sunday afternoons. I used to go with her sometimes to help the kids our (even tho they were like my age).
Anyways, one friday when we didnt have school @ the masjid..I was making duca and this woman came over to me and said "your making duca wrong" and I looked around and I kinda shrugged my shoulders at her. She almost threw a fit.
How can someone make duca wrong...does it really matter the space between your palms? :|

well xaafidiin al qur'aan, or people with the greater knowledge of the qur'aan should be standing in the first two lines, so they can correct the imaam when he messes up. if u only know couple of juz', then u have no business standing in the front lines of the masjid!.
