Those good folks have long been burried or whatever remains of them are holed up in some retirement homes waiting for their time. Today's generation don't give a shit about anyone but themselves and would rather associate themselves with Caucasians than have anything to do with Africans. I must give props where its due. Walahi late 90's my masjid was pretty empty for the daily 5 prayers, apart from maybe one row of pakistani brothers, however mashallah a lot of the euro somalis are bang on the deen, 1/3 of the masjid is full for a daily prayer, all these brothers that moved from other euro countries, all wadaads.

I don't know, but i think UK has a better welfare system, especially the child welfare. Another factor for moving is that UK encourages enterprises, if you want to start your own business the government won't restrict you by asking a heavy tax or setting alot of rules. In holland the taxes are 33% and if you make more than 50.000 than the taxes are 52%, it's crazy.

Hmmm, you're right if you pretend that Somali's have the same needs as the native inhabitants of those countries, though obviously they have the same basic needs (healthcare et al).
However, though Swedes and Germans enjoy much better healthcare and education compared to Brits, their approach to integrating immigrants and religion make the UK much more appealing to Somali's.

Census map: Watch America procrastinate NOW

Way to suck up, Montana, Nebraska and the Dakotas.

Those four Northern states are the only ones that have broken into the 40% range of census participation as of Friday.

The government has put together an interactive map that shows how responsive the people in each state and county are with returning their census forms. National participation is at 29%, with the April 1 deadline less than a week away.

The Census Bureau is using a new criteria for measurement this year. Called "mail participation rate," it only counts the forms filled out and returned from households where people actually live. Previously, "mail response rate" would also factor in unoccupied houses.

Drilling down to the county level, we can see that Mariposa County, at 41%, is the sole goody two shoes in California, making the rest of us look bad. Why don't you go do some homework, Mariposa County?

It's a little embarrassing how much entertainment we're getting out of this map. Now, all we need is a ticker to track all of the questionable expenses people try to write off their taxes.

I was very conservative in stating more than a third won't file. It appears the US government would be lucky if a third of Americans mail their census forms. No wonder, Americans deeply distrust this invasion of privacy and the government's claims that the census would help them.
