Pure garbage. Saying some Shire Jama invented the Somali script is pure fiction. To begin with, the current Somali Script is a Latin Script, so there is no difference. Quit making it sound as if the Somali Script is a totally new invention. There were many forms of the Latin Script in Somalia BEFORE Jama Shire's version. The only change he made to the existing Latin Scripts in Somalia at the time was he eliminated the signs and diacritical marks. There is nothing extraordinary about this.

With regards to the Literacy Campaign, of course, the dictator appointed someone from his clan to lead the the drive. This is the reason why it FAILED. The Shabab have been in Somalia long enough, how come they are not rewarding the confiscated properties back to their original looters? The issue of "stolen properties" is not even negotiation issue and has never been. The only reason the ICU did this publicity stunt was to present itself as transcending clan and it backfired on them. There is a reality in Mogadishu and even the people who won the properties because of nepotism accept the facts on the ground.
