Japan still has a better standard of living than China. Also LOL at China being considered communist.

"Still" is the keyword there, since China has surpassed Japan on many other fronts. And the living standard issue, is mostly because of the huge population difference.

China may not practise true Communism, but it is fairly communist in the sense of practising the core ideals.
