Beesha Habar Jeclo.

How has your sense of place and prestige within Isaaq changed now that you are the president of Somaliland? Tuur was an utterly failure and an embarassment to the Somaliland name and Cigaal was an anti-SNM left over from Somalia's colonial history. Also, Riyaale was a small time faqash secret agent who received the presidency as an inheritance after Cigaal's death.

This is the first time a true son of Isaaq who is educated (speaks English better than any Somali leader his age, even better than the Samatar professors), worked in Somalia's former government as a minister, then led the war against the Faqash and Afweyne, and since worked for the well being of the Durriyad has become president in the first real democratic vote ever in Somali territory.

I know the clan's highlight was the election of the son but what has improved since and where do you see your future place as the foremost leaders among the Durriyad?

Tuur AUN is actually the one who came with the plan to send Aided and Omar Jess to the south to fight Siad Bare and destroy his government in the Baligubadle conference. The man who was the last SNM chairman when Somaliland was liberated from the claws of faqash and the first president.

All in all. Former and present presidents of Somaliland are celebrated.

A lot of people seem to be jealous when HJ are noticed for their empowered position.

Nobody is jealous. We are just amused by your cheap elementary school isku dir tactics. If your intentions were sincere you would have created a appreciation thread rather than a thread talking about Tuur AUN, Egal AUN, Riyaale and trying to put them down.
