1st of all I agree , galmudug is no different as far as its composition is concerned than Puntland , a subclan administration.
If one is there so should the other one .
2nd, it would be in Puntland's interest as well as Somalia's in general to FIX their political divergences with their hawiye neighbours in Galmudug and Ximaan rather than exacerbate the situation of the dhulbahante who've already left Puntland for Somaliland , before of course they've changed their mind once more .


All in all we gotta patient with the dooros for the time being , for they have destroyed Somalia once already .

Sheikh Shariif is following the Law, According to the TFG Constitution Galmudug is not a regional government like Puntland, a regional government must have two and half regions of the original eighteen regions of Somalia in order to become full regional state, right now Galmudug is assembled Baraxleey a Neighborhood of Gaalkacyo and Hobyo the Pirate village, Galmudug State needs to bring all of Galguduud and hiiraan regions on the table then the TFG will recognize it as a Maamul goboleed.

On the other side it is the interest of Somaliland to find permanent peace Solution for Buuhoodle district of Togdheer region, East and South Sanaag region particularly territories of south and east of Ceerigaabo, such Jiidali, fiqifuliye, Dhahar,Badhan, hadaaftimo…etc and Laasqorey District all those territories are not the full control of under the Somaliland administration, most of Sool region except laascaanood is not under Somaliland administration.

I would advice Somaliland government instead of wasting time and energy talking with the weak and divided TFG that has only few months left in office, to ask the UN to hold referendum on the conflict zone areas such Sool, Sanaag and Buuhoodle district of Togdheer region, we already know that most people of Hargeysa and Burco want Somaliland independence , So you only need to focus the hot contested areas that standing the way of Somaliland’s recognition for the last 22 years, and if the people of those places choose Somaliland that is the end of the discussion.
