I know one as well, but it's not a Western name in the case of Somalis. It comes from the Somali word sabir (meaning patience, as in sabir iyo imaan).

It's not a nickname.. Its a popular old school Somali name.. I have it in my abtiris.. It comes up twice waliba.. Its a very attractive name.. :up:
Bootan is a nice name aswell.. My adeero is called this.. :up:
