nigga I know the politics of the region but I never claimed to have lived there my grand father had land in galkcayo (I dont know what happened to that) my father moved to Mogadishu and we lived there until the qaax. I was born during the qaax and when we left somalia, I never set foot in somalia again , the only tuulo I know in mudug is baalibusle and thats because my maternal grand mother lives there.

The distance between Qandala and Alula is 69.8 miles or 112 kilometers.

I believe that's Hafun and it usually becomes its own Island once the ocean has that seasonal change. The narrow stretch of land which connects it to the rest of the mainland submerge causing it to be cut off.
