Horta why is a bus driver an insult to some idiots? bus driver and pilot are basically the same; both operate a moving machine that transports humans from various destinations, both are responsible for the safety of their human passengers.
Whenever I take a bus I always make sure to say thank you to the bus driver.

I took the bus for a week when my car was at the shop. I was flabbergasted by how some passengers were treating the bus driver. And I was scared half of the time because bums were taking the bus and they were staring at my belongings. Respect to people who take the bus daily and did not get shanked yet.
