I personally, I reject it. As a bluestocking Minnesotan, I feel disoriented with this likely possibility. I hope it is not passed. Minnesota will loose its blessing if we go that route. Right now, our state is blessed, prosperous and fantastic. We don't want Gods Nacaalaad on our beautiful Minnesota nice state. My children are far more intelligent than u or any relatives u have. They have been raised with stupendous self esteem, freedom of mind and humanity. I don't mind my kids going to school with gay children. But if a daughter of mine or a son, comes home with a same sex bf/gf---I will express my opinion based on love and not fear or hate. I will tell them--I love them but they will not be welcome in my home accompanied with anyone they sleep with. What they do outside my home its their choice. I will remind them however of the hell that awaits them, in a sweet way. I will school them in hating sex, and certainly same sex. To be gay is not something you are born with. It is a choice you make. I'm not sure why you see me as an expert, I'm just a little confused at some of the wild stuff I'm reading here. Governor Dayton has already pledged to sign this bill into law quite awhile ago, you can watch the official celebratory signing ceremony in about an hour on TV. Yesterday, Jack and Joe didn't have the same benefits as other married couples. Today, after 5PM they will. I don't see how this will affect or change your life, or any other non-gay person in the state. If you really think this is going to make Minnesota into another Sodom and Gomorrah in the sights of God's wrath, you could always leave.
