Hardest part of fasting!!

Post by InaSamaale »

I don't mind the hunger.

I don't mind the thirst.

It's so hard to deal with humans as part of your work while you're fasting.

I cussed someone silently (to myself) that was being really rude & yelling at me. Does that break my fast?!?

Lack of sleep is the hardest part. I sleep two hours before suhur and two&half hours after suhur.

When making wudu, recite bismillah, when cleaning the mouth ask allah to protect you from the boiling drink of jahannam, when rinsing your nose, ask allah to protect you from the stench of jahanam, when wiping your face ask Allah to make you among those whose faces will glow and who drink the hawd of the prophet (water) on yawmul qiyamah. when finishing wudu recite " La ilaha ilala wahduhu la shariikala, wa ashadu anna muhammadar abduhu wa rasulu"

Bring me the exact volume I will go to my sheikh and ask him, indeed every action of worship needs clear proofs.

Also there is more dua's to recite once completing the wudu

"ash-hadu an laa ilaha illa Allah, wahdahu, laa shareeka lah, wa ash-hadu anna muhammadan a'abduhu warasooluhu.

allahuma ija'alnee min attawabeena wa ija'alnee min almutattahireen.

subhanaka allahuma wabehamdika ash-hadu ann la ilaha illa ant, astaghfiruka waatoobu ilaik."

(i bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, and i bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger.

O Allah, make me of those who return to You often in repentance and make me of those who remain clean and pure.

How perfect You are o Allah, and i praise You, i bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You, i seek Your forgiveness and turn in repentance to You."

I was reading the kitab earlier today, and I am tired of praying and staying up all night its 3:00 AM, I do not need verification for I have read this with my own two eyes, you are not al Hakam, and lastly if you want proof, read for yourself.

I downloaded a whole collection of great books including Imam Maliks Muttawwa all for free at scribd.com, including Imam Shafi's diwan, the entire sahih bukhari, and the Shaam'ial timirdhi, you can do the same and just read on your phone, great habit for ramadan, do you want the links?
