maybe this person in question is gay. Maybe he or she is mentally a nut case and is unrevelling. Maybe this person is suffering from AIDS and is afraid to be exposed? Who knows, and who cares. All I know if, the secrecy, the running away, the avoidance, tells me there is a secret. And this freaking lesbian inaa samaale--wants to get to the bottom of this secret! 
Let them be. They will not share anything with you or anybody else for that matter, because you have already built a hostile environment. All you can do is be welcoming. There is absolutely no reason why you, and everybody else, should mount an attack on a single person, because you think they are being uncharacteristic. Maybe the person you knew before was uncharacteristic, maybe she is being her true self. In any event, give the person their rightful space.InaSamaale wrote:I don't know any better.
