Israel removes all the settlements in the West bank and creates a Palestinian state united with Gaza. The Arab countries recognizes Israel and stops the violence.

This kind of proposal has been repeatedly rejected by Israel but accepted by the Palestinians. Israelis do not even accept 1967 borders let alone the 1948 one , they just want more and more land plus they will never accept a militarised independent Palestinian state out of paranoia while Palestinians argue if they can't militarise their would be country then there is no sovereignty at all. I can't see this conflict ending. I think one good solution can be Gaza to be annexed by Egypt and the West Bank annexed by Jordan and unified Jerusalem given to Israel. Israel have peace treaties with both those countries.

Last time Israel was serious about peace with the arabs was back in 2000, now they don't give a fuck about peace.....

To be honest if I was an Israeli leader in 1973, I will had committed ethnic cleansing on the arabs and deported them to Jordan and Egypt, 70% of Jordan's population is Palestinians they could get their own Palestinian state in Jordan in fact there are Palestinians who supports this idea.

They did give Sinai back to Egypt in return for peace and said they will do the same with the syrian areas in return for peace which Syria has rejected.

In the moment I will rather worry about how we can return the Somali lands in Ethiopia and Kenya back to the Somali people.

@ Israel giving up golden heights for peace with Syria. Sinai was returned because Egypt could not be ignored any longer, they had proven themselves to be strong plus sinai unlike golden heights is empty desert with no much economic or strategic importance so it was not worth the terrible.

About somali Ethiopians, they are like 95% nomads waxa loo qaatay inay Ethiopia iskala joogaan because they can't possibly rule themselves if they are given independence, and Somalia can not absorb 5 million lawless anarchic nomads, somalia iyadaaba teedii la daala dhacaysa. Somali Kenyans are quite happy with Kenya now days, I don't think they would want independence let alone joining with Somalia. Their economy is relatively doing well and is very dependent to Nairobi markets plus they have civil liberties to a greater extent
