Zubeir, would you believe me if I said Canadian international student tuition is less than how much a British citizen pays for at a local school? If you have the marks (which aren't as high as u think), u could easily get into UofT. Seeing how bad the job market is in England, doing school here means u get Canadian certifications, which means almost everything when finding a job here. Plus the girls here are better looking.

DO NOT GO TO YORK.
There. I did my part.
Also, why the hell would you pay international tuition fees when you're in London, where tuition is less and there are more schools?
P.S. Don't go to university.

Meth how much are the tuition fees then? In total over the course of a undergraduate bachelor program.

Unless you intend to do professional or graduate studies, it doesn't really matter where you do your undergrads.
But don't go to York.

Re: going to uni in Toronto
Alpha, what do you have against York?
If you're serious you should consider western university in London, ont.

Years of regret, educational wavering and financial loss.
Also, Western's a solid school, and supposedly boasts the best med program in Canada. But if you're not getting drunk or rolling in London every week, you're not doing anything. Just stay away from all the crack, meth and oxy. If you want to be close to Toronto might as well try McMaster as well. Don't know anyone who's gone to Mac and hated it. I also don't know anyone who's gone to UofT and enjoyed it.
Don't waste your money and time Zubeir. Study Software-defined Networking. Learn IT.

Alpha, IT is dead, major companies are either downsizing or outsourcing to Asian countries to save money.
Unless you want to pursue grad studies, my best piece of advice would be to choose a program with good job prospects. Here in Canada, there is a demand for engineers and a BASc in Engineering is probably the most lucrative degree at the moment.
I'm not sure about other schools but at my school, international fees are $20k/year (roughly £11k/year). It's a lot of money but there's plenty of grants and scholarships (free money) out there and if you decide to study in Toronto, you're most likely gonna stay with relatives which helps with living expenses.ZubeirAwal wrote:Meth how much are the tuition fees then? Re: going to uni in Toronto
You have some of the best uni's in London - and with your grades you could possibly get into LSE or UCL then do post-graduate abroad; Canada for instance.
Think about the financial implications.

Re: going to uni in Toronto
I doubt it'd even cost you that much for one year man, with you being an international student. You'd be financially much better off staying at home.ZubeirAwal wrote:Fuck london, Uni in Tdot costs a total of £10,500 for the entire course of my study, and i'm going be livin with extended fams.

Re: going to uni in Toronto
it says international students $19,000 , canadian dollars, when i converted it to £ using XE.COM it came out as £11,344, and this is for over the course of your under-grad studies.
taking a loan would make it $27,000 (usury/interest) but inshallah i wouldn't need dat.
