Laudable initiative on the shoemakers part but I wouldn't label the product a luxury. No elegance. Quite ugly actually.

Not so sure if genuine elegance or style matters anymore when it comes to high end fashion. They would probably sell for a considerable price in a Harrods by simply tagging a note on the stand, stating something along the lines of "Exquisitely hand made by a sole trade from in the old quarter of Accra Town and polished with the finest local oil of bark from the wilds of Ghana"
