Van Persie came out today and said he'd do anything for Van Gaal, scored a goal within 6 minutes in a Ghana friendly afterwards, if I was a betting man I'd bet on him to be topscorer.

Well, I'm obviously rooting for Australia but I can't see us making any significant progress. The defeat from the Germans in 2010 still conjures horrible images in my mind. :-(

This could be the best WC of all time - Neymar, Messi, C.Ronaldo. In the land of samba football too :blessed:

Argentina have an amazing attack & decent defense. They're underrated and could do serious damage. Same with France, nice young team with class players.

Hoping one of the African teams make it to the 1/4 finals. Looking forward to seeing Japan after that crazy game vs Italy.

So my team is Portugal but I'm also rooting for these teams. Ivory Coast, Ghana and Argentina. Argentina has the best attacking front in this World Cup. It's going to be nice seeing how Messi, Higuain, Lavezzi, Di Maria, Aguero, Zabaleta etc tear up defenses. :D :pac:

Lavezzi :lawd: pace on that wing.

Money on Belgium to make a suprise impact this year. The footballing world changes seasonally, Spain won't be holding the reigns forever me thinks.

Wara Marques I don't think Spain will win again too. Belgium is nice ohh man they have Hazard and Lukaku and also Adnan idk if he will start or come of the bench tho. They also have the best young goalkeeper in the world atm.

Yariisey show some love to the three lions. Your town is representing on a major this year.

Garoweboy, any team but Spain will do. We don't a Brazil 2.0 in this generation. Dominant squads kill football.

My boy CR isn't 100% fit hopefully he will be on the opening day.

Italy sucks I can't believe that maniac Jose M has them going far in the tournament. England and Uruguay should be top of that group respectively. If England doesn't get out of that group walahi they will be considered the most overrated national team to ever grace a football field.
