Fuck tourism.

When they start molesting vulnerable children, everyone will cry their lungs out.

Why not stop it now. Evrything is not about money or recognition and fuck the Ethiopian market.

I'll rather have a pidgin speaking Walaweyn in Somaliland than a ''middleclass'' Habesha with little wealth and alot of arrogance.

Xildiid,

I dont understand what is ur problem,it seems u r on a war with the rest of the world.
by all means Somaliland have to diversify its investments, and not rely on berbera's revenues...tourism has a significant impact on this part of the world, where piracy , terrorism and failure governments prevail.

Tourism is a huge industry and good advertisement for Somaliland's peace and stability unlike the 7 successive times undisputed the most failed stated state in human kind history zoomalia.

distant yourself from the chaos man...!!

Abdijohnson you appear quite confident in saying that. Have you ever even visited Somaliland/Somalia? :comeon: Or are you just throwing shade from the comfort of your western ivory tower.

Did you visit the Las Geel cave paintings? Did you see the ruins across Somaliland/Somalia? Soak your feet in the Red Sea? Camp out in the countryside and see the emasculate starry sky? I'm not going to lie Somaliland has a way to go in terms of development. Some of the roads (west of Hargeisa) are tough to travel and if you end up in an accident then may God be with you, but it's still beautiful.

I've seen and done it all. A good experience was sleeping with the nomads outside, hearing the laughing hyenas and counting the stars

Very very cold at night

They will never get the numbers needed to have a real impact, just a few of the more adventurous types. :)
