It seems that this guy -the speaker of the Somali parliament - is doing well while the president is confined in Jowhar and accumulating an exclusive reer Puntland militias to wipe out Hawiyes who are opposing him politically, ironically, he wants to jump start from an Hawiye land (Jowhar)

Kambuli,
Dadka loo yaqaan Raxanweynta ayaa waxay ku maahmaan "Nebed la tuugi nebed me eh" , meaning nabadi baryo kuma timaado. Waxba anigu ma guubaabin karo oo waxaan meeshan qoro waxaa akhrista inta ugu fuleysan waddanka, laakiin wax cad oo aan daah saarnayn, cidina ma dabooli karto. Nin waliba wuu arkaa in odeygan ina Yeey uu ciidamo ka soo daadgueystay Puntland oo uu keenay Jowhar xero ku taala, WHY? ma cambuulay meesha ku sugayaan.
This is a man who thrives in fighting (even though he doesn't personally fight
) and never advocated for peace in his entire existence.
The dude looks so dignified, refined and sophisticated. Is it true Ashraaf's are descendants of the Prophet (SAW)? That is one of the reasons I never cross the line with my filthy mouth and talk about them.

Interesting he was posing with Peter McKay, one time leader of the Progressive Conservatives. (Tories) Traditionally, it's always been the Liberals courting Foreign delegates.
As you saw the government I.e., the minister of foreign affairs and other liberal ministers and the members of the opposition welcomed them. So, it wasn't just he opposition.

Good observation. As I scrolled through the rest of the photo's, I saw a lot of Liberal's, also. Lloyd Axworthy, Jean Bertrand, Alan Tonks and others. I hope this is a good sign that Canada is ready to assist Somalia in reforming IT'S Parliament.
