My reer abti are from tuulo Buryaqab, now known as Xarfo.

Story goes that nin wadad ah aya kuso degay maalin, he asked for water to do wudu for salah. They refused him the water and then he said "war waa maxay meeshu, buuryaqab keliya dagan" Meaning uncircumcised people who know nothing about deen. It is not that they were against deen, just that Reer Mudug are extremely territorial about wells. :lol:
