garad13 I thought they just finish laascaanood airstrip, isn't there any local planes from burco, what every happened to ultimate airway them small charter planes.

Laascaanod had an airstrip since the 80's, but it was recently renovated. As of late, Mira from Kenya is all that lands there.

The small chartered flights were cancelled a couple of years ago throughout SL, because of a lack of customers.



This Dhulos guy in Kenya is starting up local flights again in early 2016 insll.

It is the cold season so a rubuc of qaad is 6$ and waslad hilib ah is 5$ at average restaurants.

The hilib @ hiddo dhawr (food in general) is horrible, but the live qaraami music and traditional decor make it worth going sxb.

When I go there in the summer it's straight hilib geel at golis hit dhiifka then sit down with ina gafaane at linka boils ka,hindi line and shiidka straight locals for me.

I like hilib geel if I'm going on a long journey but on a regular day I just prefer fish and spaghetti.

Well hopefully his business fills in the gaps in flights because heavy weights such ethiopian airlines and turkish airways and fly dubai is killing daallo and jubba airways. good luck insha alla
