Slave trafficking is part of Arab culture?

Post by PureQ »

How come in Muslim history, Arabs were the only common who were into slave trade and slave trafficking? Even today, they still do it and openly have pride into it.

Other Muslims were never into it as much as Arabs do which brings question whether slavery have been in Arab culture or not?

While Islamic law forbade the emasculation of a man, Ethiopian Christians had no such compunctions; thus, they enslaved and emasculated members of territories to the south and sold the resulting eunuchs to the Ottoman Porte.[29][30] The Coptic Orthodox Church participated extensively in the slave trade of eunuchs
