Iley is a active machine who is capable to deliver the TPLF message effectively. But he is not a politician, that's not his field, the worst thing is Tigray eliminated all the Somali experienced senior politicians and academics. Iley is the oldest of the current generation running the Somali kilil affairs. None of them is graduated outside TPLF junta public Universities. It's hard to update the software of these kids , their father is meles their mother is TPLF, and their Guardian is iley. They see themselves as an orphans who can't have any more canjeelo if They don't follow the rules. In Ethiopia the government is the biggest imployer , it's hard to bite the hand that is feeding you. Ethiopia is not like Kenya or Somaliland where you can be ousted from the government and still be able to get job from the private sector , or you have the option to join the opposition political party to grill the government legitimately without fear. Those Ethiopians who are protesting are the 99% unemployed ones who have nothing to loose, the rest are in tears they are thinking about who will feed them if the junta falls.

Exactly! as i witnessed my recent visit only those youngsters who graduated from local Uni's are allowed to get jobs. If you're old enough to know the history between Somalia and Ethiopia before 80s, worked, educated in Somalia during that era you're not eligible for jobs. That is a fact.
