We got 60+ MPs in Mogadishu that's great share of power, the good thing is only biimaal and surre falls under Somalia administration so those 60+ MPs practically represents those two clans out of the whole dir clans they claim to represent, unfortunately they can't even protect the interests of two small dir clans I wonder how they will protect the interests of the many other major dir clans.
You are living in La La Land. There is no 'Dir' block in Mogadishu, just mercenary politicians. When we were fighting in Hiiraan, do you think those Dir Waqooyi politicians did shit for us? We used our Ethiopian contacts and they allowed us to move troops from our Woreda (Doolo Bay) and Gedo to support the Kabxanley and Deefoow folks. The only non Surre Dir that supported us were the Bajamal Liyuu Boolis from Qalafo whilst the Reer Aw Xassan Liyuu Boolis had our back in Abaaley.
What is bajamal? You mean biyomaal or some kind of reer baar subclan?
Bajamal/Bajimal are a Dir subclan that were allied with the Ajuuran dynasty of Qalafo. They and the Ajuurans owned the ancestors of the Reer Bare but lost control of most of them after they rebelled and became too numerous. Some Jareers still attached to the Ajuran or Bajimal in Qalafo and identify as such but the majority have rallied around the Reer Bare banner. The current AS leader is a Bajimal from Qalafo with HY Reer Apti, him and Godane are maternal cousins. They are a farming community concentrated in agricultural settlements along the Shabelle river in the Qalafo area.

majority were ogaaden mostly reer cabdille not our next door bahgari and they have been very welcomed due to existing relations(ba hawadle)

second group were sheekhal mostly in qooqane camp by the river bacaad areas on your way to kahanley but now it just hawadle. sheekhal regrouped in a place called in dhocade north of baledweyne but not on the highway its located south west of jawiil

there were baajimaal and gaadsan dir in luuqjelow one of them is the current al shabaab leader

and reerow hassan

zumaale

i know baajimaal they r farmers who live between qalaafo and mustaxiil

hawadle live most on the south east and the south west of hiiraan(west side of the river as well from xaafada buundoweyn ee baledweyne to qalimow in middle shabelle) but in north baledweyne, when you reach mustaxil they go westside of the river at place called banka mustaxiil, in there they share border with baajimaal and jijeele(this is beyond reer aw hassan behind burdhiile)jijeele ends there and jiidle starts from there so we have border with all the gugundhabe subclans from badicade in buuloburde to jiidle. these r adan warsame and xarun cali. then you have other hawadle like agoon cabdalle in ceelgaabta and shilaabo who share border with mx.

Thanks for the response. I was curious because I know some Reer Aw Xasans claiming to be from Beledweyne lol. It's funny when people claim a city for their people when they have been there for 1 generation. I always knew they were from Ethiopia.

It sounds like there is an entire ummah living in beledweyne mashallah.
