Clan-based States = Obstacle to Somalia's Sovereignty
Every f-king clan enclave has a "President", "Vice President", "Cabinet of Ministers, including Minister of Foreign f-king affairs", "a Speaker of a Parliament", "Deputy speakers of a Parliament", "a f-king Parliament and it's members", "It's own constitution", "It's own army and police" and most importantly...they all claim to be "under the Federal Government", yet do everything to bypass the Central-Federal Government.
All clan enclaves have all I mentioned above in common, except the Isaaq clan enclave did one extra thing...they at least rejected to be under the Federal Government and said "we are no longer part of Somalia".
Now could these clan enclaves be the real reason why Somalia is in the situation it is in and not Al Shabaab or AMISOM? Qabyaalad (tribalism) has raped Somalia.

The problem with Somalia is not Alshabab Amisom or federalism.
The problem is the people and bad leadership.
Somaliland has done the complete opposite of what you have stated.

ofcourse thats why i do support clan federalism
i do support amisom and alshabaab
i call it the trinity that keeps the walalanweyn masses into darkness
u got it right the fabric of somalia will never be strong can easily be undermined.
i believe there should be 2 darod states 2 hawiye states one eeleeye state. and the darod state need to be further divided. so that marexaan and ogade are further divided
kenya should play a stronger role a role that Ethiopia has been playing for quiet some time
al shabaab should continue its jihadism to build an Islamic state for that to keeps the paper govt in shock and aw. and ofcourse amisom keeps getting its pay checks and chases shabaab just to continue the conflict for god knows how long

Re: Clan-based States = Obstacle to Somalia's Sovereignty
we have to reverse federalism in somalia. as we all know clan-based federalism is a foreign concept introduced to somalia by the late meles zenawi. ethiopia has used this system to weaken somalia's institutions so that it has no opposition to any of its demands.
we need a strong central govt to move our country in the right direction. it should be totally unacceptable for a clan-based state to have any sort of communication with a foreign govt. all dialogue between somalia and foreign entities whether they be nations or organizations should be with the govt.
we were victorious in the maritime case against kenya. with that being said, we should expel kdf from somalia as they're enriching themselves on the illegal sale of charcoal and sugar. we need a strong somalia and to achieve that means a gradual reduction of amisom until their departure with a simultaneous enlargement and improvement of our armed forces.

Re: Clan-based States = Obstacle to Somalia's Sovereignty
A central government with 18 region governors and district representatives from each the 18 regions must be re-instated. That is the only way to end this clan-federalism. Clan federalism, was designed by Addis Ababa, Nairobi and Dijbouti to divided Somalia so economically, militarily, politically it cannot challenge it's neighbors.

Why bother don't you have your own clan enclave ? Why do you need Somalia ? Horta why D. Blocks suddenly develop sense of state ownership only when a darod man takes its office. And then they confront others which leads them back to zero . Somalia's clan States is inspired by Somaliland they just want to be effective like us which is good when you look at puntland. The so called federal government in Mogadishu pays nothing to the regional governments, you can't control something you didn't pay for it. In reality the those states are the only reason why Somalia is still breathing, this is why Sland fascists like Khalid wants stronger alshabaab, and I do agree with him because we both want the same outcome, methods don't matter, we want Somalia to die once for all. They refused to accept our sovereignty and we won't let them unite under any banner. Even if alshabaab takes over Somalia those terrorists should never reach beyond galkacyo, puntland our best buffer zone buddies will stop them any way.

Federal systems can work well, what is missing from Somalia is clear definitions of what powers the states have and what powers the federal government has. In Canada we have clear definitions between what powers the provinces have vs the federal government, the USA has similar clear definitions.
